Safety. That's what aviation is all about. Safety for passengers and crew alike. Safety is why Robert Markette founded Markette and Associates, Inc. Robert Markette began flying in 1963. As soon as he started, he was bitten by the flying bug. He quickly focused all his time and energy (not to mention money) on flying. Before long he was flight instructing and, soon thereafter, flying corporately. During his years as a corporate pilot, Robert flew and trained others in many different airplanes. Those airplanes include Cessna 300 and 400 series, Turbo Commanders, King Airs, Sabreliners, and the list goes on. As he neared the end of his third decade of corporate aviation, Robert felt there was a need in the aviation community. That need was for excellent training at a reasonable price. There already existed many different flight schools, but they all had two things in common--they were overpriced and relied heavily on simulators. Do not misread us, we do not believe there is anything wrong with simulator training [In fact, we operate a full motion Sabreliner simulator]. We just feel that a simulator is naturally limited by one fact--it is not, nor ever will be, an airplane. With those two problems, money and simulators, in mind, Robert set about founding Markette and Associates. At that time Robert had over 14,000 hours of experience, and was eager to share his hard won knowledge with others. It did not take long for pilot's to realize the value of an instructor with such a vast amount of seasoning. It also did not take long for pilots and owners to notice one other quality--reasonable price. As everyone in aviation knows, if it has to do with airplanes it is amazingly expensive. However, at Markette and Associates we believe in giving the customer the best value for his training dollar. That means high quality training, insuring he is proficient, at the lowest possible price. Markette and Associates is proud to offer training
in Cessna 300/400 series airplanes (including the Conquests), King Air
90/100/200s, Aero Commanders and Turbo Commanders, Cheyennes, Barons and
Sabreliners. Call us for up-to-date pricing.
